| Hello---I'm new to CLTC. I had the same idea back in '89 of using the amt model to build a body, but life took over. I had however started making patterns from the model by blowing up copies of the blueprints and photos I had shot of the model. It looked promising. Looking at this site has inspired me to try it again. The Swede '89 is the best I've seen so far...but then again I have not been on this site long enough to really recognize individual builders cars. I will post pictures when I have them, if anyone is interested. BTW...Did anyone notice when the swede car was driving around town that the hood machine gun doors were missing?  Glad to be here.

| This guy has all the respect in world from me I mean to make a car from scratch that exact just outstanding. There are others that are right there with him, Bob D, Bobby C and Big Wave but the 89 is just a jaw dropper look at that video of the car cruising up the road you just cant take your eyes off of it.. Oh sorry and Mr A although I have not seen any pics of his Not trying to take anything away from folks with kits that is a tremendous undertaking as well ,but to start with nothing and build one of these beast well that takes determination skill and a understanding spouse.

| I have to agree with Nitro, his ability to make a drivable 89 from scratch is just mind boggling. He definitely has my respect and admiration for a job well done.....BWD
