Looks like they made the side intake a metallic silver now.

Damn you Dave. We're on a fixed budget here!

Dave, do you see what you have done? I know you don't work there any more but you still gave them such a great product to market. Now all they do is repaint it and put it in a different box and viola $19.99 gone out of my GA fund.

It's a new packaging after the Battle Damaged version.
I'm sure it's limited to some numbers again

This was supposed to be the Returns version but they chromed out some areas to keep it flashy. Where I was trying to go was authentic, the marketing people wanted flash AND sales. It's still a nice piece though.

Ok... that begs the questions...

Just what is the difference between the 1989 Batmobile and the 1992 Batman Returns Batmobile? I'm new here so sorry if that's been asked before.

The biggest external difference would be the windshield wipers. The ones on the two movie cars are nonfunctional, they were installed on tracks to run half way around the windshield. In the movie they used the cockpit car that had sweep wipers like regular cars. They were attached at the top of the canopy.

The clown trippers were added, the clay pigeon launchers were shown in the second movie. The afterburner affect was increased, the turn table car was built for clown roasting sequence. That is all I can think of at the moment.
