Hi everyone,

We (My brother and I) have been working on a full size Batpod for about 2 months now and have almost completed it. We are metal fabricators/ custom bike builders by trade. If anyone has questions about how to build their own we may be able to help out. Ours was constructed with wood and PVC pipe to start and is now close to completion in steel. We used a single cylinder four stroke motor as was used in the movie (650cc). We made templates of all the pieces and were thinking of selling a kit that you weld together yourself or perhaps a full frame assembly. Any interest, let me know. I will post pics on Monday or Tuesday as the wheels and tires will be in then. Thanks to all.

Hi Guys,

The wheels and tires did come in today but we only got the front wheel mounted. We should have the rear wheel mounted tomorrow and will post the pics so far. Thanks for the interest.

Hey Sdparker, can't wait to see the pics. I've also always wondered about how hard it is to drive the Batpod. I'll continue to check out your build....BWD

Hello all,

Well the wheels are finally mounted and the bike is starting to take shape. Hopefully we will be on the ground with it in the next few days. Here is a first look at the bike. Let me know what you think so far.

Lots of pics... Lots of trial and error. I am trying to get a decent camera up to the shop and I will send more detailed pics. The front steering is finished so I will send details of that too. I will let you know how it steers asap.
Gears and jack shafts are next. I will keep you posted.
