I used to position the frame straight. i think i have to do the frame at an angle to compensate for weight, right?  Can this be adjusted with shocks?

(sorry about the bad lighting)

hay conrad , the shocks that I got aloud me to set them a little longer but not by much. keep your eyes open for that...but it shouldn't be to much to put some extentions on the top bar to lower the connection poit of the shocks..that might work...hopefully

Yep....slowly but surely coming along. It's hard to progress when you have to depend on others. I'm trying.

The tires are 29.5 inches. they look bigger though...

links in In place before i remove the wheels and get the axle on the welding table to finish the brackets.

i think i'm going to need some kind of stabalizer under the links and/ore axle right? (so the rear doesnt move side to side)

hay conrad dont weld the top brackets to the axle yet let BWD look at that ...I remember him saying something about the top brakets need to be as far to the weels as possable and the bars/tubing should come to a point like in his picture.....I'll try to find it.

Shoot ...I couldnt grab the picture and post it here ...so I grabed the URL  http://www.chickslovethecar.com/board/Topic55329-20-90.aspx  go down about half way down the page and there is a picture of the rear ....the "V" is what takes out the side to side movement. I would just hate to see you weld that together and then have to break it apart...I hate that...that is one thing that I cant stand.

Thanks T! and believe me when i say I REALLY know what and how Big Wave does when it comes to 4 Links and axles!!
unfortunately i can't do the links on an angle due to the engine, belt (or chain), and trans positioning...but that may change.

Hey Conrad, on the Rumbler the top links come in at an angle and that's what keeps the axle centered. Your set up is like a drag car and would need a stabilizer bar to keep the axle centered. There is a name for it but I forgot it. Looking good...BWD
