I know this is a place where builders share their work and related techniques mostly, but I did want to share the news with my friends here at CLTC too.

We've been licensed to design, manufacture, market and deliver Batman Replica Outerwear garments which will consist of jackets, Pants, boots and gloves.

They'll be broken down into two basic groups...Movie Replicas and Commercial/Stylized Garments.

The properties are the two feature films, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight...and there will be another licensed property that we'll announce in a short time.

The website is www.udreplicas.com

It will go live soon. Once we're ready to show the goods we've been developing the splash page will become active.

I've been wanting to share the news for some time but I thought it best to do so once the website was up and able to be bookmarked. You guys have some seriously cool rides....well, some seriously cool leather is now on it's way. Yes I've been licensed but the quality of the garments I've always produced will remain unchanged.

I hope you guys/gals enjoy!

David

That is really exciting, David!! Must be great to NOT have WB breathing down your neck. haha. The licensing process must be interesting! I wish you the best of luck with your new website.

Hello Batman Enthusiasts!!!

Whhyyy soo SERIOUS?

Batmobile

There's also a removable black fur collar but it's under the Joker face patch.

Here's another Joker Goon Jacket we're working on...this is the back of the jacket and the print is approx 12 inches high.

Batmobile

...more Goon Jacket styles on the way.

Batmobile

Elegant removable inner linings and CE approved body armor making these goods suitable for motorcycle use.

Batmobile

The Dark Knight Batman Leather Costume Replica features all the forms and shapes as seen in the screen used 'Hero' costume but all replicated in leather, as well as the translucent Kevlar inserts. This is the concept artwork of what the DK replica leather costume jacket looks like...and let me add that I've seen the mock up..that's pretty much what it looks like.

Batmobile

Lastly, here's a pic of Dave patterning the screen used C.Bale 'Hero' The Dark Knight Motorcycle Jacket.

Batmobile

It's all coming...and very soon now!
Enjoy!

Thanks folks!

Oh and BTW, I updated Dave's new email addy here and I think we now have limited viewing and no ability to send PM's...or did I mess something up?.....can someone help me fix this?

A few more details regarding TDK Batman Leather suit...

The Dark Knight Batman Costume-Replica Leather Jacket and Pants are almost ready. I know I use words like 'almost' and 'soon' rather frequently but these garments truly are like nothing else ever attempted. Technical complexities aside, they're also classified as 'movie replicas' so they have to look like what was seen on film and that's only part of the challenge. Regardless...we expect to go live in a few short weeks on www.udreplicas.com with everything including these items here.

Just to give you an idea of how complicated 'yet accurate' we're trying to maintain this motorcycle suit...here's a peek at TDK Batman Costume-Replica Leather Pant...Which also features removable CE approved motorcycle body armor sections.

Batmobile

There's also a pretty good look at the black on black Kevlar sandwiched inside and under our custom made clear high-impact armor plates.

That's about as big of a tease as I can give. As I mentioned above, more details will be added to the website in the next short while.

...now, just picture TDK Batman Costume-Replica Leather Jacket.

Planning on going to see Melvin White...at 1502 Randolph Appt's? Then you better be sure to dress accordingly.

Batmobile

....every detail, stitch, method of overlay, colors, secret inner pockets and size is 100% identical to the Hero worn Christian Bale jacket from TDK....however all standard sizes will be offered. We're still considering custom orders for sleeve lengths and that sort of thing but no decision by Dave on that matter yet.

The camera flash brightens up the red significantly, but you'll see proper pics and all details at www.udreplicas.com very soon.

And...

.....Oh and Mr. Fox...I NEED A NEW SUIT.

Batmobile

OK...so THAT'S the biggest tease I can give....
Sorry for the watermark....an evil necessity at this stage.
