Ill try to get a picture posted soon....the wierd thing is that I was going through this site last night and I came across a picture that chilebean had posted a long time ago of a frame with 4tires on back and the arms were attached alot like what I have...it uses springs instead of shocks.

Im glad that I came across those type of tires for the front because I thought that I would be playing hell trying to find wheels that would give me the room in the hubs to apply the linkages...but still, Im not sure if 5 inches will be enough...if not...I'll make it work. I'll have to man handle it into place..

I used the warm weather we had on Sunday to go out and talk to my build. It misses me and I miss it to. My knee is pretty much almost back to normal now and hopefully it'll start getting warmer.

I'm getting ready to fix a mistake made when i widened the front arms. i didn't like the way they looked with the wheels so close so I cut the arms. and in my rookie hindsight, i should've made them wider to begin with. Anyways I'm hoping it will warm up again so i can get back in the zone and start posting. And believe me, I will.

So yeah T, I did it today. My rookie ass was having a hard time leveling things out...I guess the world isn't flat...at least I know my garage floor aint.

you can see the rack and pinion steering unit waiting. Yes the arms are now weaker after i butchered them. will have to have more bracing on the outsides.

And YES!!!!! RIGHT down the block from my office is a golf cart place. They have TONS of used parts stuff. almost like a salvage yard for carts. My mind was racing when I was showing the guy pics of my build and he began suggesting a rear axle. I didn't think i was going to end up having reverse available but the head mechanic there ("Hammer") showed me a used yamaha rear axle with a tranny and torque converter on it. I'm rethinking my engine/trans setup.

Meanwhile I told them i was working on steering. now I have a place to get everything I need to complete the steering setup. here's what they gave me for 50 bucks:

The pic below shows the mounting bracket. i will build around this to mount on the frame.

Finding this place and seeing their enthusiasm has got me pumped a bit.
