Wow! Sounds like people in your area need to stop living in the past, things have changed a lot, and some people need to change with the times.

I live in a small community of about 10,000(mostly rednecks and farmers)

Almost have all the panels drawn up, and cut out for testing.

Shaggy (7/23/2008)
... here in AL, racism is a very large part of everyday life,.

I just read this.

I'm really curious and always have been....it's 2008. When the F*** are people going to realize that hating another human just by looking at them is the most ignorant thing that can be done, next to acting on that hate. Humans are not born this way: put a white baby, a black baby, an indian baby, a chinese baby in the same crib and all they'll do is look at eachother and think..."I'm hungry, where's mom?" fast forward 2 years and these babies would be playing with eachother. it's the racist baby boomers from the 50's and 60's that are still around, and some grandparents. they teach their children to hate. Unfortunately these teachings are then passed down. when does it end? Animals have more sense than this. I remember someone telling me..."hey what's that accent? you talk white". and all this time I thought that my catholic schooling and mother were teaching me to speak proper english...This genius opened my eyes! Of course White!! Dumb ass.

I simply have no patience for that kind of thinking. None. I feel for you shagg. stay resilient, stay strong and be who you are.

Sorry to veer but I had to comment.

Conrad, you were in no wrong posting what you said.  Its true, racism is a teaching, not an instinct.   And its being passed down from generation to generation.   I would honestly like to leave this place and go somewhere where its not so outspoken, i feel i'm never going to remove myself from the criticism of others just because i dress differently than everyone else.   I would just like to find somewhere where its not so outspoken about how someone feels about another persons outward appearance, especially at first glance.

Thats why, here about a year ago, i was considering moving to Australia, but it ultimately got to expensive, and to too much confusion for me to even attempt.

Anyway, i meant to say the 3 pictures that i just took, i took on lunch and i just laid all the panels against it, nothing is hard glued together just yet.

Shag, I'm not going to say much because you already know that I think you are amazing and even above that you are one of the most giving people I know.  You are always there for your friends.  How you find time to do all that you do I have no idea.  Don't forget to spend a few minutes with your family...

I'll reply to your email ASAP....
