Shaggy (4/13/2008)So I talked my dad out of hauling it off for scrap and let me see if i can build "something" out of it. Of course he was persistent in knowing what that "something" was and when i told him a full size version of the batmobile he just rolled his eyes! lol. LOL, that reminds me. When I was in high school I got a honda 440 from a friend for free. I put it in the back yard next to the shed and one day my dad took me back to the engine and asked "whats this?" I said "its an engine" and he said "no shit! I thought it was a bunch of bannans". LOL, cracks me up every time I think about it. He really just wanted to know where it came from and what my plans were with it.
"there ain't no bat!"

Rusty, that car is a 1935 Chevy 2 door Sedan, all steel body, no fiberglass mocked up peices on that car. This certain car use to run moonshine from the cops back in its day, then was driven here to Alabama, where it drag raced during the early '60's. My grandfather won it in a pink slip race, gave it to my dad, who gave it to me before i was even born. I plan on during a full rebuild on the entire car once i get some funds loose. Hope this helps, its the only picture i have saved on this computer .
