Hey Guys!! Just letting you all know I'm still alive Still having computer troubles, tho. Hope all is well with everyone, and hope to be back up and running so I can be on more often. Speaking of 'up & running', I recently got my '66 Lincoln on the road after sitting for 2 1/2 years. I need to do a little body work and paint, other than that it's driving flawless!! Unfortunatly, I sold the '79 on the right

I'm still trying to get THE CAR replica off the ground. I recently found a guy in Europe who built one using a Mercedes Benz 230. I'll try to get pics of that up later. Take care, Everybody!

A Mercedes-Benz 230?? One of these? I had a 1975 300D and it was basically the same body, but with slightly different headlights.

Did a The Car enthusiast buy your newer Lincoln?

Hey Ryan! Yup, that's the one...amazing replica! Right-hand drive, and everything. The kid I sold the '79 Linc to likes THE CAR, but not really a lot. He plans to restore it to normal...maybe a mild custom.

Here's some pics of the UK CAR; Needless to say I REALLY WANT THIS ONE!!!!!

Hey Matt, So you are saying that Mercedes was made into the Car? I was trying to figure out is the windshield is the same? And how about the side windows? From the back those rear tires look wide and mean .....So can you make the Car out of the 66? I love the interior of those old cars.....BWD

Hi Dave...good to hear from you again! Yup, it's based on an early 70's Mercedes Benz! I'm convinced now that THE CAR could be built from just about anything. I would love to see one built from a '66 Lincoln...just not mine I really like that car the way it is...just want to change the color.

I'm still trying to make contact with Ray about his build...I hope to get him to share some info and pics here...I'll keep you all posted.
