I started building this in december as a tree topper but I ran out of time. So I thought I'd do something with the supplies and the bats I had cut out. There not ready to plug in yet but I figured I'd post where I'm at.

I printed a 14" wide bat for my template and cut them out of some sheet metal I had, I think its 20 gauge.

1 Bat

2 Bat, ah ah ah (voice: the count)

Oh, I cut those out with my dremel.

Here's what I've done this week. I don't happen to have any black cords long enough so I'll have to get those before I can plug them in.

Magnets to hold the fronts on, and locator washers to go around the magnets.

The Bronze is more metallic than the cap indicated but I like it. Its also more sparkley in the photos because of the flash.

Hey Chilebean, So I take it you weren't building these out in front of God and everyone.....I've had that same conversation with my wifey too. She's got the rolling of the eyes down perfect. I've got the ignoring the rolling of the eyes down also.......Project looks cool and unique....BWD

I wanna see it lit up!!!!

I was thinking about 89" symbols last night as a matter of fact. DO IT! These were pretty quick and cheap to build. So you want to see them lit up?

On the wall. I used white cords instead of black because my walls are white. When I find the house I want to stay in I'll wire them in so there wont be any cords.
