Hey Ryan...I think Tony is correct about the roofline and the C pillar. (...)

I agree, now that I get a look at it. In the photos of George and crew working on the car, we see them building a metal frame over the front and front fenders of the car. Is that the same treatment they gave to the rear of the car?

Hey Rage I like those cars you just posted especially the second one. Is it possible to post a large version of that one or e- mail it to me? I just love the look of that car....BWD

All except that second one are Delahayes. I like them too, and yeah, that second one from the left is really nice.

Batmobile
1938 Delahaye 135 M Roadster

Batmobile
Its actually 1935 Voisin C28 Aerosport Coupe owned by Arturo & Deborah Keller of Petaluma , California. When I did the Google Image search for Delahaye, the car along side this one on the NAAACCC website was a Delahaye, hence this car coming up as a Delahaye in the search.

Batmobile
1947 Delahaye 175S Aerodynamic Coupe by Figoni & Falaschi

Batmobile
1949 Delahaye 175 S Saoutchik Roadster

I haven't seen any build photos of the rear of THE CAR, but I would assume it to be the same treatment. Tony might be able to shed some light on it.

WOW!  What a great day that was.  I know Tony does this all the time but man it was awesome to meet all of my custom car heros, and I do mean all of them.  George Barris, Dick Dean, Dean Jeffries, Chip and Sam Foose, Marcel DeLey, Vic Edelbrock, Bill Hines, Pete Chapouris, and countless others.

Tony thanks again for everything, you're the best!

Excellent guitars, Tony! Someone posted pics of them on the 66Batmobile site. Did you guys get Billy G to try them out?

Jack has some amazing talent, and is a great help as well. I know he's busy with his own projects, but now that you mention it, I'd love to get his input;

So, Jack...if you were building(using fiberglass) a one-off replica of THE CAR using a '79 Lincoln , how would you do it? I was thinking about having the sub-frame built over the car like in the original build pics, then making fiberglass body panels...but not sure exactly how to go about it.
