on the note of your trucks heater core, yeah i know how that feels, its the same headache on a 95 and up ford ranger too   i decided to simplify, so i bought her a 1963 chevy and am installing all new componants out of an 89 gmc, and setting the body down on a 82 silverado frame. This way she will have the luxuries of a "newer" vehicle, but without the headache of hard to find older parts as well.

And on the note of your project, SUPER AWESOME DUDE! that looks like it would hurt if fired

I got a little work done, nothing worth a pic though.

I did a test fire with another co2 gun held up to the back of the barrel to see how that heavy (compared to a pellet) cork would fire. It went about 6 feet, it may go a little further when I'm done. The cork will be tethered to the gun.

I put 6 brass tubes in the cylindar for the air to pass through to the barrel. Since the cylindar is way bigger now the gun actually fires out of the bottom chamber of the cylindar.

I installed a bullet catch (that was hard to find) in the back of the barrel and drilled some divits in the cylindar for the catch to rest in. Without thinking I drilled at the bottom of the barrel for the catch but that put it in the way of the bolts that hold the barrel to the frame. So I had to move it and of course didn't measure how far I moved it. Thats why the divets don't line up with the chambers, I was only off by 4 degreese though.

Heres the bolt holes to attach the barrel to the frame

other side of cylindar

I fired it and the cork only shot about a foot   I'm loosing some air between the cylinder and the barrel. I'm also going to put a wall in the barrel closer to the end to reduce the volume of air needed to eject the cork, I hope that helps. After that I can prep and paint the gun and start on the gun case.

I hadn't fired the pellet gun before I cut it apart, it makes a pretty cool sound

I want to seal the corks so they will last longer, but I don't want them to be too shinny or smooth. I was going to use sanding sealer since its more of a matte finnish. If you guys know of anything that will work better let me know.

That is fantastic.  Very well done, indeed.
