| NEW PICS!! NEW PICS!! .......NEW....PICS!! almost done with the plug, then fine tuning, then baby supplies, then mold, then baby supplies.... 
 
i know it doesnt look like i've did much since the last few pics, but i straightened the sides, made them even, and fixed all the ripples in the hood, almost done with the front intake, and i drilled the "eyes" out for the windows. I have a small droop on the driver side light area that i plan on fixing, and i have to finish the driver side intake, and mechanics area, and driver side rear fender, and both wings. I know that sounds like a to-do list, but it really isnt all that much once ya get started. K BYE!

| Hey Shagg CONGRAT's!!! God bless the child!! The 89 is lookin ssssssweet. and thank you for your fuel injector/carb answer...I understood about half of that...anyway I have a ways to go before the motor. I've now decided to go with a small block 8. out of a nova or something. but like I said...I've got a ways to go. My tube bender comes in tomorrow so I'll have a job to do as in mounting it and doing some practice bends and more practice welds. I agree with the others about the other car builds...since you ARE a batmobile fan i think it's ok!! just throw some bat logos here and there and you'll be fine! Again congratulations to you and wifey on your new addition. be well...
...does it come in black?

| Shaggy how does that plaster of paris work? Is it a powder that you mix? And how fast does it set up? And how much does it cost? I was wondering because I have been repairing some plaster work in an old church. I was looking at the ingredients of the finnish plaster and the main ingredient is Plaster of Paris. It's $17 for a 50lbs bag. it sets in about 20min (not dry but hard). I was just wondering how similar they are, and how the cost compares. Hobby stuff tends to be expensive. Maybe the commercial plaster would be a cheaper method for anyone looking to use plaster. I'm just shareing info here.

Hey Chilebean, the stuff im using is straight off the shelves at the Craft section at Wal-Mart, Its $5.00 a bucket, it is a powder (one part water to two parts powder mixed thoroughly). I cant remember how much is in a container but it cant be no more than 10lbs. Its fairly easy to use, sets up in about 10 minutes or so, depending on how well you mixed the ratio's of water and powder. THE ONLY 2 things i dont like about it is: 1) it breaks off real easy in the thin spots, and 2) it gums up sandpaper quite quickly. But a quick thump to the sand paper backing and it will pop off all that gumming up. Thanks for the info!

| Back in the old days when I use to be a general contractor we had to use a plaster type product called Fixall. We had exactly the same problem with brittleness and pieces popping off if struck too hard. Another old gizzer told me to just add some white glue as you mix it up and it did solve the problem. You might want to try that....BWD
