Yeah, I saw those a while back.  To anyone using these as a guide, this guy goes a little overboard on the PVA.  25 COATS!  PVA is thin, but with that many coats, you're changing the size of your piece! 

Tim, Kevin, how many coats do you typically use?  2?  3?  Some people don't even use it at all.

I usually use about 5 thin coats but after seeing these videos I was curious.  I added about 15-20 thin coats on the last thing I did and it worked great.  If you're going to be painting the part then 25 coats is probably fine since that is probably still thinner than the paint will be.  I was using gelcoat, but that little of a size difference wouldn't matter for the part I was making.  What's nice about that many coats is that it peels off very easily— you don't have to wash it off the part.
