Last weekend I got an urge to build a Knight Rider KITT SPM car.  I've only seen pictures of one replica ever built.  It was built by some guys for Barris and was used in the movie Benchwarmers (so I'm told, never seen it).  Anyway I have seen pictures and it looks well not that great.

Since I don't have a spare Trans Am sitting around I bought a few parts from the junk yard (hood, driver fender, and rear spoiler)

Here is the completed fender and hood.  Still working on the spoiler.

Hey guys, long time no see.  That looks great Jack!  Knowing you, you took some progress photos, care to post them up?

I can help you on your lack of a donor Trans-Am, if you care to help me on my lack of '89.

There's a link of the guys making the original SPM car out there, I don't have it since I'm at work at the moment.  If you haven't seen it, I'll be happy to dig it up for you later.

Keep up the awesome work!  It inspires me to get out and work on mine some more!

Man Jack, you've been busy. You do some really top quality work. I'm not very familiar with the SPM car - how much do you have left to do?
