Here's a quick summary;
The frame was an old bunk bed. The "blueprints" were from one of the toys in my collection. I just built a frame from 1/4 in plywood. Then added the polystyrene foam. Once I had the general design, I covered it with 1/8 panneling. Finnaly I added working headlights, blue lights behind the centercaps on the wheels and the head board is a working Bat signal. It took about 6 weeks to build, as you can see in the last pic we are very pleased with the results.

It looks alot heavier than it is. The sides are about 40lbs each, headboard and footboard are probably 20-30lbs each.
