That one's definitely way off. It's got the curved back window even. The thing that always gets me is that the still say it's "the one actually driven by the cast." 'Course, he also says that Batman statue is a replica of the suit Keaton wore in Batman Returns.

It seems to be a mixture of the two films. The sad thing is the car is so rare. It probably would have been best left as it was. Oh well

So that's THE Batmissile? Did they build more than 1for shooting or was it just one full sized and the rest in minatures? I've been curious about this for a while.

I vaguely remember seeing the 'original' 89 Keaton costume on display at the science museum here in town shortly after the film came out. Didn't even think to take pictures *Doh!*

Actually,

There is no "full scale" Batmissile. The only screen used one is 7/8 scale.

I too, am guilty of pulling on the canopy and asking "Now Silent Bob" about how to get the canopy open...

It doesn't!

The whole thing was pulled behind a truck with a cable and the wheels roll, but they do not turn.
