jack that looks like a good idea .....plus look at how wide and flat the top of that track is.. that will be alot of good suport for the hood to rest on. and i will try to take a picture of the rollers

Rusty, how high does yours sit up in the front and the back when opened.  I was looking at your side track and it seems like to would be up quite a bit.  Do we need that much clearence?

Did I even post this picture?  Man I still have a long way to go.

Of course you can.  Of course like a lot of things I will be redoing the hinges.  I made them out of 1/2" tubing but when I installed the actautor they streched and caused the trunk lid to fit wrong.  I will make the next set out of 3/4" or even 1".

thanks i have two off of a mg trunk that look close to them ...i tryed the hood hinges off the mg had them mounted and everything  but it didnt have enuff stroke..went about half way
