Why would it cost more to have it a 2 piece with the flanges?

That is a lot of work, every corner or compound curve an extra dam has to be made to the mold to allow the part to be released from the mold not to mention that the flanges have to be made from scratch and have to be made they have to be matched and flush.

When I did the molds of the 66 car everyone wanted the car to be perfect as possible, I spent months straightening out all the bad molds and flaws in the body. I removed all the tape lines, restruck all the door trunk and hood seams, put peaks back on top of the front fenders and peaked the rear wings. I filled in al the bad mold lines and polished out the body. We sell the kit for the same price as Bob did and everyone says it is the best body they have see anywhere but complain about the price.

Apparently DonC has the  best 66 mould out there at the moment. Are you saying Kev that ur 66 mould is better that don's cos I've seen Don's kit and it looks picture perfect. I must admit when the time comes Don is 1st in line to build a 66.

Ah shite I came across wrong. I'm not trying to "state" anyones kit is better than anyone elses I was only asking Kevin if his 66 kit is as good as Don's latest. We can all see that Kevin is putting a monumental amount of work into perfecting the 89 so I can only imagine the 66 is of the same calibre. Sorry Kevin if you thought I was slating ur work. Thats not the case.
