the picture of the real car looks like the lines were molded in and the vent holes were just cut out

I think only the Bat Missle had the raise up grills to show the electronic processors.

I never suggested that they should raise up. I just figured since you have everything you need already to mold them as separate parts that you could and that it would look better.

You already have them in place and marked out the gap. Now just pop them out and mold them separately. If you don't want to do it that way that's up to you but it would just be one more thing that makes the kit better.

I used a Dremel Tool to trim out the edges on both grills. I still need to do some more blending and trimming.
