Forgive the less than steller scans, I didn't have a lot of time. DH, if you want, I'll do some better ones (clean up all the creases and line up the pics) sometime for the site or something. Enough of that, enjoy!

Yes, great article...thanks Maul! I love the pics as well...I have a question, tho...One of the guys here says it looks like one of Jays cars, was he involved in the first movie? The mag was put out in '89.

I'm not trying to correct anyone...I really just don't know:confused Thanks! -Matt

No, but one of the sure sign it's a Jay-O replica is the upside-down jet intake. The center bracket should be on the top, not the bottom. Jay's were always on the bottom for some reason. Maybe it was intentional, do you know, Paul?

Oh my gosh, you know I was ready to be pulled into the world of the tumbler(BB), but after seeing these pics , I have returned to my roots.
I originally started this slow arduous campaign as a 66 guy. Ready to don the grey and blue of the tv series behing the original batmobile. I can't resist the flowing lines and allure of the 89. I swear, I must conquer the 89 and then like some of you - do the 66 later (retirement, ss check ,lol. The 66 might be easier to construct but alas all of me is still with the 89.

Gotta do it
