Ok so this one is news to me... I was cleaning out my shop yesterday to try to make room for more vending machines (I run my vending business from within my screen printing shop. Clever, no? But I digress....) and I came across a box with documents from a road trip I took with my old man a LOOOONG time ago. We're talking years here. So I am lightly sifting through and throwing out almost every document I find, seeing as how they are mostly outdated and useless. I come across a flyer for an auto musuem which I throw away, but then for some reason I pull back out of the trash bag. I take a moment and browse through it, and what do I find? THIS SHOT:
This is interesting to me, because this is from years ago and I never actually went to the museum (to my knowledge). I just grabbed brochures from local hot spots while we travelled. Any idea who built these cars or if they are still there? The museum in question is the HISTORIC AUTO ATTRACTIONS museum in Roscoe, IL.

Looks like they still do. They have the 60's version and the "bat car", which is the 89. Then they have the "bat rocket" which isn;t in their picture, but it's got to be the batmissle. They also have a BTTF car and the ghostbusters car. Interesting looking museum - I want to go! Here's the movie car part of their site:

It's the original!
Here's the breakdown of Wayne's toys.
Batmissile from Tornado's in Tucson
Family Truckster from Star Cars Atlanta
Batmobile from Silent Bob
Classic Bat from Don C.
Sanford and Son from Burkett's Branson Missouri and Amarillo Texas
Kilmer (Bobby D.) Statue from Silent Bob
Ecto 1 from Star Cars Atlanta (Jay Built)
Flintstone car from Burkett's
The "Bumper car" cracks me up. Wayne got that from Silent Bob, but it's actually the "Sleeper Car" from the Woody Allen movie. Looks like Wayne didn't get through Silent Bob's accent and Sleeper became Bumper and we have a new attraction.
Didn't know Wayne was going public until this thread but "Thanks Justin"... I have a feeling Historic Auto is about to get a Fast and the Furious car and a KITT.
Hey Justin! How are my shirts coming?

Just getting to the "screen burning stage". Got a crap load of work to do this week, including selling and delivering several vending machines, catching up on all my late screen printing work, and getting my auto dealer's license (long story). I will shoot you a pic or two when I get the sample print done!

Nitro,
Bunch of people. One of whom is working on Dan's 89 at the moment.
But the only people who ever sold them to anyone were Jay first, then Silent Bob.
Carl made a bunch, but officially, he's never sold any of them to anyone but Warner and On-Star.
Nice looking car Don. I have to go out to Volo in Chicago soon, I'll drop by Roscoe and check out your car.

Man I hate to be pickey but the Ghostbusters car is way off. Theres a guy in my city who made one. His looks much closer. And his ghost emblem has a pirate hook too. I guess thats for legal reasons though.
Still it does look cool.

Oh... Ghostbuster cars are usually way off. The Caddy Ambulances get harder and harder to find. Most people can't tell the difference between one model year or another so to cut costs, not even the right year is used half the time.
