The same thing happend to the 89 build book. It ended up in Japan so no one had access to the album. It was also sold on Ebay.

Let's make this site require $19.99 per registration.
I will use the money to buy all the interesting batmobile auctions on ebay
It's a win-win situation for everyone, especially me.

well, I wouldn't get that excited. It's the prototype kit bashed version, not the real deal. More for historical/collecting than for reference to the actual built car. You can see it in the art of Batman Begins book. Same for the nomex drawing, not what they ended up with.

Some of the artwork looks like the images on the screen saver from the BB site!
Cheers from down here

One things for sure, these are the real thing. The photos that are being auctioned came from Nathan Crowley when he stopped by at Mattel early in 2004. The pics of the model Tumbler are some of the same I've got from back then. It's not the same kitbashed car as the Art of Batman Begins model pics. The full-size cars were just getting started over in England and that's what it looks like it that one pic.
With all of the designers leaving (for one reason or another) Mattel recently, I'm not surprised these are being auctioned. There are a lot more where every these came from. As someone else mentioned though, not for any final Tumbler reference but early pre-production art. Try building a toy Batmobile prototype from those blueprints .
I was way off on my first attempt.

Can these stuff be seen in The Art of Batman Begins book?

The Art of Batman Begins has pics of a different Tumbler prototype. This one was the final model built by Nathan Crowley and approved by the director and WB. The blueprints were based of this model.

Does anyone know who ended up with the photo's? Reviving old thread i know. The random image generator makes me do it.
