Bill's comment:
I'm working with a local Boys n Girls Club here in XXXXXX, they will be the recipients of the funds acquired when I do the Batmobile rides for charity. All the proceeds will go to them

Dimensions probably won't help since he is doing it the way I am doing mine. His won't be dimensionally accurate, it will be a stylized version made to fit this particular vehicle. Mainly this will be a visual project. Even though the overall proportions will be wrong, he can still follow the same body lines and structure.

Looking forward to more pics, keep 'em coming...

Bill that is one fine job . How do you know how much to cut down on your foam ? Do you eye ball that kind of thing or do you have card board templates you lay up next to it to get the contours you want? I think the home built bodies are the way to go. Not only do you have the pride of making the body yourself, you have a blank canvas to tailor the car to your particular needs and your own style. Great job from a big fan, and hypocrite.

You just carve away anything that doesn't look like a batmobile. Or as Foose says "remove all the ugly".
