How are rhey going to operate?

Are they gonna pop out like the movie or slide out or rotate like the hot wheels car?

I guess this is really Kevin and Jack question.

So here goes.

Starlight, I thought I would make a couple of hundred sets of gun doors that way I can just blow them off anytime I want to. Heck should give someone a pretty cool souvenir.

No, just kidding. I'm going to mount my guns to track I made that will be operated by a 6" actuator. The Gun door will be mounted to the guns by 3 brackets. When the gun goes up so will the door. I am also adding a set of pop up mirrors to the gun doors. Here are pictures of the concept and pictures of the track and actuator.

I almost hit the bow button Jack

From the size of that thing, looks like there won't be any Batdiscs compartment?

And what are those beads doing in the back?
Been to Mardi Gras recently?

Good catch on the beads, but no they were from a local parade. Here was another idea for the doors.

Kevin has a real good idea also to use a scissor style jack. It would take up less room under the hood. Kevin?

on my replica i plan to have the door split down the middle, and hinge open on command, but i will have the gun in the car, but most cops around here say they would have to arrest me if they saw it, and since a few of them are batman fans would check for that, so what i plan to do is have a swtich inside that will rotate the guns so if they look in the compart ment its just gonna be a storage conmpartment, but flip the swith, guns roatate, then when the doors open the guns pop up. if that made any sense.

things are a bit slow, i had to take a break due to a few school projects, i was gonna do a little more work on them the other day but i opend the working bat belt file to modify a part and notice somethign wrong and kinda got hooked on fixing that. but i still to plan to do the full scale prinatable plans, i have to do them anyways for when i mkae mine, so i figure i mind as well put them out there for other people 2. weather or not ill relase them all at once or as i go im still not sure, if i start building the plug befor i get the rest done i might just realse them as i go in the tutorial,
