Hey DH,

I found that other cartoon I was telling you about. Don't know if you've seen it or have it, but it was kinda funny.

So what's going on guys? And wouldn't it make more sense to have newest posts at top of first page then decend from there? Not my forum... just asking... don't hurt me... NOT IN THE FACE, NOT IN THE FACE! Never realized as I read EVERY thread and reply on this entire site that threads were oldest at beginning then the new one's are at the back. Eyes crossed after about 4 hours of reading anyways. You guys rock!.... now answer my other thread titled "Losing my mind"!!!... please

The new superman is by far the punniest superheroe ever! He's even worse off then Daredevil! And we're talking Ben Afleck for God's sake! New superman movie will suck if for no other reason then superman being a weenie.

Hey guys,

I'm back from dinner.

Didn't make it to the shop tonight.

(Stop smiling Jack... And "YES" I brushed my teeth afterwards.)

I'll have to dig up those pics of Steve's 89 with the Flip-Flop paint on it tomorrow. I looked over the shots I have of it here at the house and you can barely tell that it's color changing paint.

See.

Batmobile

You can see it just barely. But the hard copy shot I have in my photo box is of the rear driver's wing and you can see it clearly in red/green/gold/blue and black. I'll dig that up tomorrow.

It's about the only thing I'm gonna post on that thread you've got going about "Loosing my mind". That thread is the exact reason I don't answer tech questions without the 1K consultation fee. TOO MUCH WORK!!! The questions start getting a lot smarter, fewer and a lot less combative when you charge by the question. hehehehe

As for the direction of the threads. I think it's refreshing the way they are. This way, if you've not yet seen a thread before (and some of these come up when someone adds to them) you can read the entire thread without having to work backwards and waiting for the first thread to load. If I'm following a thread, I can just jump to the last page. Good work DH.

"Yeah. We're like bats and criminals."

You forgot "Vampires". We have a HUGE concentration of Vampires in the Philly area. They totally freak out over the Batmobile. And they love the fact that the shop is open all night. I only work at night to keep the tourist population down and still the Vampires show up at 3AM all dressed in black with sunglasses on.

"Cool... it's the Batmobile"

You guys have been asking me for photos, but I don't really know where to start. I told DH that I'd crack open the "classified" box and dump a bunch on you.

I'll start with this one.
Batmobile

Recognize it?

It's my rendition of the pic GB took that day when Jay had two of his cars on display. George brings over the 66 and takes this "Look at the cars I made!" publicity photo.

At least with my pic, (I added the cycle for good measure) I made all of the cars. But it's an exact copy of GB's, but without paint on any of the cars. I could do the same thing with the finished vehicles, but what's the point, anyone can stand next to a finished car on display.

I'm looking around in my Batman files right now..........

I have this one which is pretty unusual.

Batmobile

A pile of 89 parts in the cutting room waiting to be trimmed up.

an upside down Kilmer car?

Batmobile

How about...

"The Kilmer car gets a colonoscopy"?

Batmobile

How about...

"WHERE ARE THE DAMN TAILLIGHTS AND TURNSIGNALS ON THE KILMER CAR???!!!"

Batmobile

Customer's cars?

Batmobile

Jack, those 30 or so 89's are spread all over the globe. The customer's don't want people to know that they've got them. It was back in the day when WB was out hunting these things to confiscate them. Owners were just happy to have one to show their friends. These guys don't want to post or talk to other owners.

Batmobile
Another client taking delivery of his car in his OFFICE!!!

The only night that I can remember everyone talking, is the night that the Drew Carey show announced that they had a Batmobile, but didn't show it in the previews. Almost EVERY 89 and 66 owner called me to find out who'd loaned the studio their car. We all ended up getting an AT&T conference call going and we watched the show together going; "Yep, did that in the car! Who else has had sex in their Batmobile?!!!"

But for the most part, everyone keeps to themselves. I've even lost touch with the owner of 3 Batmobiles in Ann Arbor. He used to stay at the house 4 or 5 times a year. But everyone's lost touch and ducked for cover when Robert started annoying WB by being so public about the car.

How about a Bathorse?

Batmobile

I have a Bat DOG too.

Or a Gold Batmobile???

Batmobile

OK... I'm gonna quit with the photos because DH's gonna flip with the size of this post.

So I ask you...What do you want to see?

The photos from "the old days" (before I got a digital camera)are in photo boxes at the shop. I'd have to scan them before I can post. I'm not scanning everything. But if you give me an idea, I'll hunt for the kinds of stuff you're interested in.

(No tech pics! :mad I spent a lot of time, energy and money learing all the little secrets. That's why I charge 3K for the instruction manual)

I figured I'd keep it to photos concerning the 89, basically because that's what the site is all about. Plus I'll toss in some strange and silly ones every once in awhile. Don't ask about the Batporn either! I ain't sharin'!

Talk to you all later,

Batgod, but did you floss? Wait I was having a flashback to the 80s. Never mind you really don't have that problem any more.

What I would like to see. I know it's a tech question but here goes....

The compressor inlet, what and how? I have the nose cone but that's it.

How do you attach the wheel covers? My thought was to make a a longer wheel cap that the end would have a nut for the Bat to screw on to. The wheel cover would go over the cap and then the bat would tie it all together.

Hey Paul, glad to see you on CLTC. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. I've been gone for awhile.

I've always wondered why you lay up each mold section separately? Was that just one car or do/did you do all of them that way? I assume it's because of the car being so large that hand laying it by yourself at once would be practically impossible (this is why I think vacuum infusion would be perfect for this car.)
