I just watched the batmobile sequence in both films frame by frame like you have and want to know ur take on the things I found(I'm sure you've noticed them already since they weren't too difficult to spot).

Brake pedal difference between two movies

The hand that drives the batmobile in auto pilot

The front lights?
What're the unlighted portion for? High beams?

I always thought clown tripper was hidden from underneath the car but looks like there's a side compartment hidden right underneath the disc thrower panel. And the panel beneath is only visible in the particular scene only.

And the real reason for this thread.
Looks like the side pipes on this car is different from the rest. Looks like the parts are attached to a seperate panel.

Webmaster, see now you are getting it. "TAG" you're it..... Very good finds. I had not notice that the brake and gas pedals are different. I have always thought it was cheesy using a factor GM brake pad.

The Hand that drives is an awesome blooper and No I had not seen that before.

You are dead on with the Clown trippers. That panel comes and gos. Also watch the scene where the machine gun doors blow off and you will see they re appear in the next scene.

The lights I have no idea I just assumed they were turn signals. Here something interesting. This is a picture that Dave sent last night. You can clearly see that the headlights have a trim ring. That now leads me to believe lights from an existing car were used (The Hunt is on).

Batmobile

As far as the side panel goes. I originally thought it was just a fiberglass panel with all of the mechanics attached. I saw this picture on the Net a long time ago and it looks as if there is actually a separate panel. Dave will have to shed light on this one for us. DAVE???

Batmobile

AGAIN Great job. Who's next? TAG

Great pics webmaster. Looks like they went with a more slim line accelerator pedal as well.

Can't we all just enjoy the film instead of looking at all the tiny mistakes that they made with the car?

Hey Jack,
I didn't get to capture anything but I did notice two small interior lights located on each side of the canopy in the first movie.
While driving to the batcave, batman turns the light on his side when Vikki looks too close at him. And u can also make out the same light on the passenger side.

However, I don't remember seeing same lights in any of the interior shots in the returns movie.

Know anything about those lights?

Did someone ring?

The lights in the first movie were used to blind Vicky Vale when she started getting to nosey. I don't recall seeing them in the second movie. But things like this change and remember there were full scale mock ups of just the interior and Dave has told me that no 2 were a like. Right Dave?
