Anybody got a clue as to what size motor is used in the stunt car? Im think a Chevy small block 350 would work. Anybody? Sooner or later I will build one just to scare myself... Hell ill build a better one.

As I understand it, every car was a stunt car. The thing was designed so each car built could do every stunt which was planned for the movie. I also believe that the motor in the thing wasn't conventional. I remember when it was on display in NYC's merchandising convention. they couldn't start it because they had to drain the jet fuel out of it for transportation. If I were building it, I have no idea what I'd use. Whatever the engine, I'd want it to have enough power to give the thing some speed/acceleration.
