| The color/finish of the OnStar cars is great for making out all of the subtle details. This picture in particular is great. Thanks for posting it.

Sorry to say, but I think that the Onstar Gun metal grey finish looks better than the Gloss black. I always preferred the original shots from 1989, when the car looked as though it were made of metal, rather than plastic. It just makes it look more solid, or is it just me????
Oh, and on a lighter note, just think how many safety features the Onstar car has ..... and all with a press of the Onstar button.

Even better than both would be a flat Matt black paint job, a combo of both. That way it neither looks like a toy, or a car covered in undercoat. But a also mistake of bad paint is the wheel hubs in the first pic, they have been painted the same color as the rest of the car, so you can't even see the bat symbols on them.
Still, at least it is better than what has happened to the wheels from the B'n'R car, just wheel nuts on show on a basic nickel and dime hub. Even this car, faults and all deserves better. It is an Official Batmobile, so a little care taken with it might not be go unmissed.
You can just imagine the chatter in the office at the theme park on the day they got the official word they were getting a Movie Batmobile, the dreamy thoughts at first that a Keaton Batmobile was on the way, the banter that even a Kilmer car would be awesome. Them the jokes and laughter that anything would be better than the "Looney Disco Neon" Clooney Car, and then the dismay that it would indeed be that car. With that, the only saving grace was that whoever was over six feet and slim had the chance to be dressed in a Batsuit.
Speaking of Batsuits, we also have a lot of variety to those in these pics. The First Batsuit pic is the Kilmer suit (black logo and belt) but in a Keaton Car. The Second Batsuit featured in the pic with Superman gets it right on the money (yellow logo, and the Returns costume to boot, seam sculpting on the thighs gives it away as the Returns suit) and in the Keaton Car too.
The Third Batsuit is a little difficult to make out, but I think it is a Returns suit, but I can't see a utility belt so it suggests a combo of Keaton and Kilmer, but the gauntlets are definatly Keaton., but alas it is let down by not being the right suit, for the right car. The Fourth Batsuit is an attempt at a Useable "action show suit." Not only is the cape barely past waist height, but the leggings are just spandex, going into a laced combat boot, by that angle the rest of the suit is covered, but the Cowl looks to be a Keaton Returns one.
The problem with these stunt show suits is that they have to be used everyday and must get damaged, and corners are cut to minimise expence. If I were in charge of one of those shows, the first thing I would do is hire two security guys who work out and have a muscular physique and are over six feet, their duel roles at the park would be one of both Batman at show times, or a behind the scenes security role at times the show is not running. The solution to the suit problem is to have the suit be like the suit featured in Batman : Dead End, just a flat cloth suit, with a black Bat Emblem, a black combat utility belt, black briefs and black high-cut combat boots ( but for god's sake tuck the laces in) To the kids, its the Comic Batman in the Real Batmobile ( I consider the Keaton car to be that), to the Park, it's a cheap, but useable suit, and to the adults, well... it's a classic Batman that looks like he could kick some ass.
