Looking good Sly...

Have you thought of maybe adding a layer of fiber on the outside of the one section that you filled with the resin and fiber strands for a bit of "peace of mind"?
But then again if its not a daily and you dont go driving around on major dirt roads (Dont think thats the plan anyway) but then it should be fine.
I would say as long as it was cured properly and you did not do a crazy catalyst mix into the resin then it should be fine. Just my 2c...

Yes, that's what I was considering, but it seems pretty solid so I think I'll just see how it goes for now.

Not right now. Going to take what I have done out to THEMAN's shop on the east coast first part of July and we will do some work on the car together then.

Initial steps in lining up the placement of the side boxes. The car is up on a chassis jig, so that's why it seems so tall. But with the air suspension it actually will be able to raise up about this high and lower down about to the ground.

After we got everything lined up.

The side mechanics will go here.

Position of the rear wheels was determined by the correct placement of the rear boxes. This gives us the length needed for the trailing arms and drive shaft. The doner frame will be adjusted here for clearance and the framework for attaching the large wings on the rear will fasten on to the frame here. btw, I think that rear axle is from a Hummer.

Just a quick look at the driver's side. We didn't do much on this side while I was there because it will just mirror the other side.

Batmobile

The front frame is in a pretty good location but will need to be angled back on both ends. It will form the base that the gun turret rests on and we can put the front air intakes in the section between it and the front of the body. The front "splitters" can be attached to it.

Batmobile

Front box took a bit of trimming before we could get it to fit. but we figured it out.

The end result is looking pretty good!

I have a couple of videos I'll try to link later.

Thanks buddy. THEMAN need these boxes set so he could get distances. So he's really been waiting for me to deliver them. Now it's up to him to build the framework that attaches them to the car. He thinks he can get a rolling car by the end of September. (Rolling, not running )

Yep, now that sly and I have his finished sideboxes in place, that let us set the exact distances to where the final suspension arm lengths will go to... it's a huge step! This also let us set the correct side-step tubes height and placement, below where the side-mechanics go. Up on the chassis jig, this will be the suspension at full droop or it's highest elevated airbag setting. Also with a nice set of WELD forged military style wheels to get our front end looking right.
