That collection grows quickly when you start locating all of the parts needed. You'll have a completed car in no time at this rate! I'm Jealous!

All of the correct gauges have been found by KNIGHTDRIVER and he plans on making dash parts. Ive got first dibs lol

Everything is getting together like a good plan. Still have lots of unknowns but less day by day.

What would be the ideal size for the wheels and tires if yours are not?

The diameters are spot on at 15". The widths it depends who you ask and what car is used as a donor. When I said ideal I meant the backspacing for the Impala is too much, will have to use spacers.

Steering stuff. Hopefully I got the correct Spline count for the Steering box and gm steering shaft. 36 and 30 spline to DD U-joints. Got 2x 35" DD steering shaft, 1x 24" DD steering shaft and 2 DD to DD 30 degree angle U-joints and three 3/4" steering shaft end links. Will buy extras just in case.

Here are the engine and transmission crossmembers from Trans-adapt. My donor is a 96 Impala SS so I have a LT1 and a 4L60E.
The engine crossmember is a SBC universal one with rubber mounts, the trans crossmember is a 6" drop one- I hope that is doable and I didn't shoot myself in the foot with that one lmao
