Value status of Adam West memoribelia.
Since the death of Adam West on June 9th 2017 collectors have done quite well on his autographed pieces.
In particular, the authenticated, and even more so, on his photo-authenticated pieces.
For those not familiar with photo-authenticated pieces here is why they are so valuable.
A regular authenticated piece is usually accompanied with a Certificate of Authentication.
Problem is many of these Certificates of Authentication are either counterfeits or totally worthless without meaning.
Example: Has Adam West's signature on certificate and item/photo etc. Maybe, it is not fake but more likely it is.
Photo Certificates of Authentication
Example of best type: Item has Adam West signature and certificate has a built in photo of Adam West signing the item with a date time stamp. The certificate is also signed and dated by Adam West
Adam West signed a lot of batarangs. Before his death, photo-authenticated batarangs went for 300.oo and today these go for around 1,000.oo
Most other Adam West autographed photos and items have increased in value by 2-3 times
Many Adam West autographed items/photos being sold online are fakes.
If you are buying Adam West or other Batman actor autographed items as an investment stay with the photo-authenticated pieces. vertigo

US $2,100.00
Adam West and Burt Ward personally signed diecast Batmobile by Hot Wheels. Very rare as both have added their character names. Adam West adding Batman makes it a real unique item as he did not often do it. This is the brand new model 1966 Batmobile by Hot Wheels, with the figures, that look super cool. (Now discontinued by the manufacturer and getting hard to find even unsigned!) 1:18 scale. Comes with a special "Signed in the Presence of" James Spence JSA COA. Sticker is under the back of the car. Spence witnessed the signing of the vehicle. Vehicle is in mint condition. Only taken out of the box to get signed. Candid signing photo does not come with the item. That is for display only.

Original Batman Art increases in value around 10-25% yearly depending on the individual piece.
For example, I found this piece on eBay today going for 4,999.95

BATMAN & JOKER Original Art by Simon Bisley art (Signed & Dated)
Size : (approx) 11.5" x 16.5".
Name of Comic(s)/Title?: BATMAN & JOKER Original Art by Simon Bisley art (Signed & Dated)
Publisher: Simon Bisley
Art by/Featuring/Stories?: Featuring an Original piece by Simon Bisley...We call this piece BATMAN & JOKER , featuring a scene with a brooding Batman and the Joker in the background with his demented smile/look...These scans are not as nice as the actual piece due to camera that is not capturing the full details and is very slightly blurred and slightly off color...Pictures/scans are showing the full piece, then close up of the piece...Done with Acrylics on board....Due to the light coming from the top of the piece the colors are not appearing as deep as they are when looking straight onto the artwork in person... The actual painting has deeper, more vibrant colors....Very nice piece with Simon holding the piece at a San Diego Comic Convention back in 2008...
Grade of item? : This item is in NM+ condition (Brand-new)
Created when? : 2008...
Paper stock? : On board...
Over-all description : Brand new with a light corner bump to the upper left corner, courtesy of Simon...
.... Ready for framing!!....

Received an email today asking, "how are holograms used to authenticate Batman related collectibles?"

The sports related memorabilia, replica player clothing, etc. generates billions of dollars in sales. As such this industry is driven to create ever improving authentication methods and technology. High end fashion companies and many others are also becoming much more involved as well.

So, how are holograms being used to authenticate Batman related collectables.
Example company: https://www.novavisioninc.com/pages/prd_product_authentication_holograms.html
Holograms For Collectibles
Two hologram stickers with matching serial numbers are commonly used to authenticate collectible merchandise and memorabilia. Typically, one sticker is used to authenticate the collectible product and the matching hologram sticker is used on a certificate of authenticity. Removing (peeling) either the sticker from the product or certificate destroys the hologram image imbedded in the sticker.

Holograms With Taggants
For higher security applications, they offer a variety of optional security features which can be combined with the hologram for added security.

A hologram provides visible overt anti-counterfeiting protection; the taggants are hidden and invisible to the naked eye. They can only be detected by hand-held devices. Our stock taggant formula has two methods of detection:

REVEAL Taggant Detector

The REVEAL taggant detector will illuminate a green light to confirm the presence of the taggants. Since the REVEAL detector shows the presence of the taggants in all lighting conditions, it is the preferred method of verification.
Hologram Taggant
The REVEAL detector will illuminate a green light to confirm the taggants.
Infrared (IR) Light
An Infrared (IR) Light, which is invisible to the naked eye, will show as a visible green dot. Viewing is primarily intended for normal room lighting; visibility is better in low-light conditions.
Product Authentication Custom
The products on this page are the most popular hologram stickers priced as a set of two matching serial numbers.
For added security, these images are unique to Nova Vision. And if custom imprinted with text/logo, your custom imprint will be included in our imprint registry.
In addition to the images listed on this page, most of the hologram stickers we offer can be produced with matching serial numbers. For the full selection of hologram images, visit our Custom Imprinted Hologram Stickers and Stock Hologram Stickers pages.

One Batman related collecting area that I failed to mention is the actual or replica movie scripts used in the production the actual Batman movies. Part One
A movie script copy signed by Christian Bales sells for around 500.oo. The actual script used by Christian Bales with notations of rehearsing preparation might bring 3-5,000.oo.
Movie script collectors usually display them in wall hung display boxes.
Main points to consider for movie script collecting:
Source: www.gilliananderson.ws
Autographed Movie Scripts
(1) Condition is not Crucial to Worth
The condition is not as important when it comes to the value of a script since they were originally produced to be used rather than admired. In fact, signs of use can even increase its worth if it’s believed that the script was used by a famous actor. Personal markings in the script that the actor may have left can reveal how the role was interpreted, which is invaluable information for fans and movie lovers.
(2) Popularity of movie Means Greater Demand
A script of an obscure film may not fetch as much on the market as a Hollywood Blockbuster. Big name movies are known by more people around the world, and an international market is bound to command more bids than a local one. Movies with a cult following can drive up the price of memorabilia very quickly, so don’t worry if you think that your script isn’t for a critically acclaimed film! A popular movie will have plenty of audience members who appreciate it for what it is.
In the same vein as demand, a scarce supply leaves buyers ready to increase their bids. A blockbuster with more original scripts available for sale means interest and money are divided up among the different sources.
(3) Like an Antique, Older Is Better as an investment
The older the film, the older the script, which translates to higher value. For scripts of recent movies, the best decision is to store them properly and wait to sell until the time is right. Nostalgia and memories are part of the charm of older possessions, so consider it an investment in an item that’s like a fine wine – patience is needed to age it properly!

One Batman related collecting area that I failed to mention is the autographed actual or replica movie scripts used in the production the actual Batman movies. Part Two
Characteristics of collectable movie scripts.
Major movie productions know the value of script autographed scripts and do a few things to tap into this profit stream.
(1) Many major movie productions have thousands of serialized scripts printed. Marlon Brando's personal copy of the Viva Zapata! ($12,500).
With film scripts, as with books, you don’t always need to spend a lot to get something interesting.
And if you are willing to put up a bit more money you can get your hands on a piece of history: Oliver Stone’s JFK ($1,250), perhaps Stanley Kubrick‘s 2001: A Space Odyssey (priced at $2,001 of course) or Francis Ford Coppola’s mob movie The Godfather ($12,500).
As with all collector items, the answer to a script’s worth depends on a number of considerations with many scripts selling in the hundreds of dollars to low thousands. The script for Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather even sold for $12,500! His personal signed and notated copy might sell for for a few hundred thousand, perhaps 500,000.oo. A serialized and photo-You don’t always know how many copies of each script are out there but sometimes studios letter or number their scripts so you will know the exact number produced such as with Marlon Brando's personal copy of the Viva Zapata! ($12,500).
With film scripts, as with books, you don’t always need to spend a lot to get something interesting.
On the lower end of the scale you can buy in on a copy of Universal Pictures’ turkey of a film Howard the Duck for $75.
Stepping it up a notch, you can have the pair of cult classics Gremlins 1 & 2 for $400, the Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster psychological thriller Silence of the Lambs for $150, or arguably the best Star Trek film to have been made, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for $600.
A serialized photo-authenticated script copy with an authenticated serial number assignment list and signed by the Director and Major actors for a major movie would bring around 5,000-20,000.oo depending on the number of such completed scripts. Usually a series of 500-1000 such identified scripts.

Received an email asking, "What is the most valuable autographed object ever sold at public auction?"

I assume by object you mean something not created by the person who autographed it.
Sounds like you are looking at a way to determine the value of the autographing signature, etc.

George Washington's Annotated Constitution
Price: $9.8 million
In his lifetime, the first U.S. president kept a bound volume of the Acts of Congress, including the Constitution and Bill of Rights, with his signature of ownership and handwritten annotations in the margins. Dating back to 1789, the historic document set auction records in 2012, when it sold for $9.8 million.

If you are looking at the absolutely most valuable signed or attributed authenticated objects we are talking paintings.
Remember, not all valuable paintings were signed by the painter.

What is the most expensive painting ever sold?
Painting attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, “ Salvator Mundi,” circa 1490–1500. The world’s most expensive painting to sell at auction is Leonardo da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi, which sold for $450.3 million on November 15, 2017 at Christie’s.
