Thank you. No, I am not native English speaker, I just really love the language and I try to practice it whenever I can. Also I check what I wrote before I post anything, that helps too

Hi all! Introducing myself as a new forum member finally. I've been lurking on this site as a guest on and off for the last several years. (I'd say 5 or 6). Always been very interested in building one of these.

My name is Josh, I'm a 26 year old Canadian, born and raised in the outskirts of Vancouver BC. I currently do not own a replica of any bat vehicles. But I would love too!

My background is welding and metal fabrication. Mainly revolving around the custom manufacturing industry. I was lucky and got a welding scholarship when I was just 16 letting me attend post secondary schooling early and graduate highschool early. I've been in the welding/fabrication industry ever since my completion of my first year of welding school when I was 17.
Up until a couple of years ago I had worked for several small and large fabrication shops, mainly involved in sheet metal, aluminum and stainless steel specifically. Great places where I learned a lot and grew a lot. 2 years ago the last company I was working for went bankrupt, I purchased some of their equipment and went out on my own to start my own fabrication shop. Today, I have a couple of employees, work is busy, and I've been able to get some really nice equipment including a brake press, laser table, plate rolls, sand blaster and a milling machine. ( all helpful tools for any bat-builders that need something custom )

I definitely look forward to talking to you all and reading through more of these great threads. Please reach out to me if you think there is anything i can help you with as well as i'm sure I'll be posting up questions soon enough as well.

If anyone is interested, you can check out my instagram @jgordsthewelder or @acurtechfab

Cheers!
