Thanks Towman.
Looking at the top and how to divide it is going to be a bit complicated. Starting by working on the front half. It will be divided down the middle lengthwise and the entrance to the interior of the air scoops will have to be done as separate molds.
Today I used body filler putty to fill the seams and level out any major problem areas. Filler putty is better for this because it has structural strength and won't crack. I will use joint compound now to finish it.

I'm hopefully picking up the second chassis for my base next week to match how I'm building Sly's rig. post pics when it comes in. I love cars.
Glad your posts are getting thru now. Hearing about your progress inspires me to step things up on my side. I have to admit, I have been a little under motivated not having you and Vertigo posting up a storm here.

Glad to see your progress moving along at a stable clip.
Wrapped up projects that have been demanding most all of my time for the past eight months.
Spent some time today getting reacquainted with my Tumbler and Justice League builds and cleaning up my work space today.

Just a quick update:
Working on the front half of the top that is the cabin area. Working to get both sides symmetrical as there was some problems with milling this area. The driver side dips down too much so building it up a bit. Windows are a little rough but not too worried about that anyway because they are just there for strength of the mold and will be cut out when it's time to put metal framework and glass in.

Progress Report:
Finished the mold for the Driver side main cabin. The other side is basically ready too so I anticipate having that ready by next weekend hopefully.
Looking at the first picture, The center flange is placed off center to avoid the door groove that goes down the center. Just an FYI for anyone that might use this mold someday.
The second picture shows the front half reconnected to the rear half because the flanges need to line up between the two halves.
Also, there is a part that you can see that is not part of the new mold. That section will have to be done separately because it curves under the top section and is the beginning of the interior part of the air intake. That air intake interior will have to be created later as well.

Ha! A little early on this one. First time for everything.
Even did the side section on the drivers side but not sure, may have to redo that because it was tricky to get the glass to stick on the curved part that goes upside down.
