I will be doing the bottom in two sections. Here is the first half with the flange plates attached and two coats of parting wax applied. I wait to put on the parting green stuff until just before fiberglass because it will absorb moisture and become less effective.

Thanks brother.
I don't like using the tape on the flanges but had to attach them with screws to blocks of wood in the back. Screw heads would cause problems later so the tape covers those. I'll have to fill the tape indents when the mold comes off. Not a big deal.

Main Body/Passenger/Rear/Underside mold glassed. I made a mistake on this part. I put on the two coats of parting wax but I forgot to do the green parting solution. Guess we'll see how easy it separates with just the wax.

Thanks Vert.
Since that last post I have removed the flange plates and trimmed the flanges. Removal went OK, so probably no problem with separation. Haven't started on the other side yet because the A/C compressor went out on the Ferrari and I'm trying to get that fixed.

Vert, nice to hear from you. Sure am missing your wonderful posts on this board.
How are THEMAN and your donors coming along? Donor car is progressing. THEMAN has acquired the correct rear wheels, appropriate seats, and other items.
Talked to him yesterday and he had acquired a heavy duty transmission that we will need. I can't remember if he had the new rear axle sourced yet or not, but it was something we talked about last fall. I just sent him the donor seat rails because he wants to install the seats and start work on the roll cage.
Sly your body-building is looking awesome as usual!
We do have some things moving along on the chassis end of our builds... I'm also in the middle of building two KITTs, ECTO-1, BumbleBee, and a JurassicJeep, all outside of the day job, so my forum time has been scarce the past few months.
As Sly said I got the transmission sourced for his, and I'll pick up the same for mine in the next few weeks once another 4L80E gets pulled for me. I also got the driveshaft figured out, using the heavy duty Aluminum shaft from the Express van. Gets me within a couple inches of my first Rear-end spacing mockup guesstimate. I've had his Hummer H2 14-bolt rear axle with LSD here since the pics I showed months back during initial mockup, and I also sourced my rear axle a couple weeks ago. I'm hopefully picking up the second chassis for my base next week to match how I'm building Sly's rig.
Sly's car came as a stick, but I've managed to get barters for the 6-speed drivetrain done to get us the Auto ECU, gas pedal, and harness to run the engine and 4L80E while keeping VAS and all stock functions in place. I also got his C5 vette auto brake pedal to swap in place of the current clutch/bake that is coming out of it.
The seat rails for the passenger side came in from Sly, and in the same barter trade I got new seats that are close to the sparcos... which means I can now mount all this in the cockpit and start bending the roll-cage around them. Sly and I confirmed cockpit measurements a while back so I should have it clearanced close enough so his body mounts right around the cage bars.
Thanks to the bartering this keeps our budget lower to build out the 22.5x20inch wide wheels to fit those correct looking Agricultural tires, so that's the direction I'd like to go with both cars now, and I'm trying to scrounge together similar rear tires for mine as well, as I haven't found as good a deal as the ones I got for Sly quite yet.
