Thank you. No, I am not native English speaker, I just really love the language and I try to practice it whenever I can. Also I check what I wrote before I post anything, that helps too

Hi all! Introducing myself as a new forum member finally. I've been lurking on this site as a guest on and off for the last several years. (I'd say 5 or 6). Always been very interested in building one of these.
My name is Josh, I'm a 26 year old Canadian, born and raised in the outskirts of Vancouver BC. I currently do not own a replica of any bat vehicles. But I would love too!
My background is welding and metal fabrication. Mainly revolving around the custom manufacturing industry. I was lucky and got a welding scholarship when I was just 16 letting me attend post secondary schooling early and graduate highschool early. I've been in the welding/fabrication industry ever since my completion of my first year of welding school when I was 17.
Up until a couple of years ago I had worked for several small and large fabrication shops, mainly involved in sheet metal, aluminum and stainless steel specifically. Great places where I learned a lot and grew a lot. 2 years ago the last company I was working for went bankrupt, I purchased some of their equipment and went out on my own to start my own fabrication shop. Today, I have a couple of employees, work is busy, and I've been able to get some really nice equipment including a brake press, laser table, plate rolls, sand blaster and a milling machine. ( all helpful tools for any bat-builders that need something custom )
I definitely look forward to talking to you all and reading through more of these great threads. Please reach out to me if you think there is anything i can help you with as well as i'm sure I'll be posting up questions soon enough as well.
If anyone is interested, you can check out my instagram @jgordsthewelder or @acurtechfab

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? No car body yet but I have everything I need for an 89 Interior. (minus the throttle quadrant). Working on collecting everything I can get before I can get the body shell.
A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share):
Spent the last 30+ years building Knight Rider replica's for myself and clients. Just finishing up my 13th build for someone in Ohio. Retiring from the K.I.T.T. business and jumping into my other Favorite movie car. The 89 Batmobile.
OCCUPATION: Auto Parts Distribution as well as film prop maker on the side.
YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS: Only facebook currently. Contact me if you want the link.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Just excited to get this new project rolling. Hope to see this board pick up a bit. Not sure why it had slowed so much over the last couple of years?
