So, a good friend (and fellow CLTC'er) has released some videos showing off some of the impressive features he has included on his 89 build. Not one to include just one mind blowing feature on his build, he has no less than five! Now keep in mind this IS a fully functional and driving car - never done before!!!!!
The first and foremost amazing feature on this 89 build is the first ever fully functional TURNTABLE that not only lifts the (perfectly balanced) car WITH THE DRIVER IN IT, but can also rotate the car 360 degrees in either direction while balanced on the turntable.

The second amazing feature is the engine and the third is the amazing tilt front end to show off that massive V-12. While most 89 builds are your typical small block Chevy, maybe a couple big blocks here or there, and the one turboshaft, this 89 build has no less than 702 Cubic Inches of GMC V-12 power.

The fourth amazing feature is a fully functioning Boeing 502 (T50) turbine engine that has been converted from turboshaft to turbojet which is mounted out back with the exhaust blowing through the (afterburner) turkey feathers (as it should be!).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp9nwC67Zcg
And last, but not least, coming in fifth, are the "floater" style wheel bats which remain stationary and upright while the wheel rotates going down the road, just like those fancy RR center caps.

Knowing that he will obviously get inundated with questions, requests to show details on how he did it, as well as requests for duplicates of his parts from other 89 builders (and probably one troll to copy), I am posting this on his behalf. Hopefully you will get a chance to see his badass black car at a cars & coffee, or a well known show some time in the future.
...And there's probably more to come. Enjoy the videos!

Aaaah... now I see what you mean in your PM. Good work to him Sir
Would be curious if to help increase timing if s simultaneously lowered/raised the air bags in opposite directions?

I have to say, over a hundred views and only 2 comments? Back in the day builders got all sorts of accolades for much lesser accomplishments. Is this new batch of builders not impressed with this particular builders accomplishments or just not interested in making an effort to congratulate him on a job well done and accomplishishing something we have all dreamed of - a no shite turntable car!
Com’on people, give the guy some props!

No disrespect, but the forums has either been dead, slow, or filled with newbies that don’t want to comment. When I first found these forums I was super gassed up about putting a project together but the lack of responses, and people online has made me think that finding some one to help who has been through the situation was getting harder and harder that maybe I should wait.
But yes, this build was great. I came across it on youtube.

Amazing videos! Full respect for the time, dedication and skill involved.
Always was a bit of a bugbear that the turntable in returns was movie magic but dude did it for real!!
