Put in 4-hours more on my Justice League batmobile.
Continued on fabrication of dash and immediate area forward of dash into steel.

In the past I would have used a plasma torch to cut the body pieces and panels.
Now, I use metal cutting circular saws to do 99% of my metal cutting of plates, flats, angles, etc. cutting up to 3/8" thick metal with my Milwaukee brand saw.
I am currently fabricating the body of my Justice League batmobile from 1/8th" and 12 gage sheet steel.
I am cutting my 1/8th" and 12 gage steel sheet with a Dewalt 20 volt battery 5-1/2" metal cutting circular saw.
Don't need my bigger Milwaukee metal cutting circular saw for 1/8th" and 12 gage sheet steel.
Also, using a Dewalt 18/20 volt battery Saber/jig saw to cut the curves in the 1/8th" and 12 gage sheet steel.
1/8th" sheet steel is the maximum thickness for effective cutting with a Saber/Jig Saw and quality blades.
My Dewalt 18/20 volt battery Saber/Jig Saw with quality blades cuts 1-2 inches per minute
in 1/8th" and 12 gage sheet steel.

Justice League update.
Put in 6 hours, bringing my total so far, to 30-hours on the top of dash board, engine hood, and air intake body panel
assemblies. Plan to continue with these three assemblies.
There are a lot of pieces that go into fabricating these three assemblies.
Attached a few photo-images of the current construction status on the hood and air intake assemblies.
Next I plan to cut and fit the remaining intake pieces.
Lots of weld grinding after these assemblies are finished.

That intake assembly looks quite intimidating.
btw, since you're starting to work on the hood area...… I've been giving this some thought myself. Since we plan on keeping the engine in the front, have you thought of ways to access it for general maintenance like oil changes etc. As well as major engine repairs if needed? Maybe removable panels or something of that nature?

Working towards a hood assembly at present and removable panels is other key areas of needed access.

Not at this time. Welded in fixed panels but could easily reopen them with a plasma torch and return them to functional in 30-minutes. Whether I return them to functional or not I plan to install black wire screens over where the intake ports are.
Put four more hours on Justice League batmobile. 38-hours so far on air intake /hood / top of dash board.
Completed welding on air intake assembly.
Will begin adding other pieces to transform it into a functional
hood/air intake assembly. Surprised myself on how well this is working out.
When one looks at the photo-image attached of the completed air intake assembly it is pretty easy to
visualize what will be required to make it into a very functional hood assembly.
The hood/air intake assembly is a complex assembly of parts and intersecting angles.
Building this assembly can be challenging and frustrating at times. Lots of patience required.
Eventually, the assembly will need a lot of grinding.
