but I may have ordered double what I need for a better price though... So like most stuff I get I should have one full set available at a reduced cost.

Anybody have a good High resolution picture of that Clutch slider used for the steering wheel hub? I want to try and make a CAD file for it.

I think I have some pretty straight on shots saved off on the home system somewhere, but here are a couple I could grab real quick out there... I have ordered a couple from various places, but no one has come through with delivering one yet.

Those won't work. I need the piece by it's self. plan to convert the jpeg image to use as a sketch up in a CAD program.

Interesting, that first pic above seems to be missing two of the sliders on the steering wheel.

toggle u-shaped guards is what I found them under... the couple places I found them including ebay have them around $6 a pair... and if you buy well over the amount you need for this project the price drops a bit. I actually ordered double the amount I needed by accident and got the better price on them, hence passing it on.

Things have been pretty quiet here with the holidays and all, but now I hope we can start to get some things moving again.

Here's my solution to the control knobs on the steering wheel. It's not as accurate as vertigo's but a lot easier and I think it will be passable.

Batmobile

The knurled part is a 10-32 Thread Diamond Knurled Steel Thumb Nut for a Scope Mount.

Batmobile

These can be purchased on ebay.

The base is a lamp fixture part.

It can be purchased here:

The nut can just be tapped down into the tapered fixture with a hammer and it is very secure. For the base I plan to use washers or the plastic base that is on the steering wheel already reinforced with washers. the knob will be secured with a 10x32 machine screw that screws into the knurled nut from the bottom.

Right now I am working on reproducing the geometric line plate at the bottom of the steering wheel. The plate is already on the unit so I wonder if they just turned it over and etched the pattern on the back. I may give that a try. I have copied the pattern from a picture of the steering wheel, sized it to fit the plate, and have reproduced it in Fusion 360. My concern is that the plate is awfully thin to try and etch with the equipment I have. Will need to do some experimentation.

An update on the foam body molds is coming in the next few days on my thread so look for that soon. Can't wait to hear of progress from you guys as well.

Anybody know anything about the gage cluster on the dash? Is this another game thing?
