The '89 and '92 cars were all wide-ended. The modifications to reduce the rear were done on a casting after filming Returns for the convenience of transporting further replicas made, no Hero cars were harmed in the process. The ones in WB lockup are still almost completely original, sans paint finish.

There are no wide ended cars up until very recently. At least one person on this board, maybe a few... added the additional, what like 8 inches or more? into their castings and it's a huge improvement.

It's a modification truly worth doing. It makes the car look perfect, the skinny rear ends don't sell it as well, and the proper dimensions are more faithful to the original design.

Anton wanted her to have a fat ass, we gotta give her a fat ass (so to speak) to honour the man.

The whole purpose of the narrow bodied cars was to make them easier to transport as the wide/er cars were sort of a pain. I can't wait until I start scratch building a wide-bodied bat hn

Do I look like someone with a plan? 0_o
