Matt,

Awesome Job!! Looks spot on. Keep the updates coming. Let us all know when you are ready to productionize your efforts. I'll probably need a set...

Seeing the part in question was sourced in the UK, maybe we should call it a crumpet...

Edit: I just received some Crumpets from the UK - pic attached for your "Jeopardy" knowledge base..

Glad to see the battle over naming conventions has begun in earnest!! I'm all for a good old fashioned throw down!

Good point about the donut though. It truly has no hole. lol

Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement. I'm still trying to keep this whole thing moving forward. I put together another blog post of my recent progress. Nothing really spectacular to see, and much of it is similar to previous posts.

Very interesting. So you're mold is a rubber material. What is the part material? Will the part be solid or hollow?

Original parts were 3d prints. final parts will be resin or fiberglass layups.

Hey gang! if anyone is interested, I'm going to offer a couple of sets of gun doors up for sale. For those of you following along on my blog, I remastered the doors from scratch to fit the DH body. Drop me a PM if you're interested. Looking to get 300 for a set of two, plus shipping. Fiberglass.
