"I'm doing everything with quarter inch up-spiral square end mills. Half inch for rough would certainly go faster and eighth inch for finish would be cleaner detail, but I'm very lazy and that would require changing bits.
From my feeble memory I seem to recall length of bit is 3.5 or 4 inches and length of cut is 2 or 2.5 inches. Two flutes, Solid Carbide long reach foam cutting bits. I tried the HSS bits but they didn't hold up well."

Since we are talking about foam milling cutters,
Are your milling cutters designed specifically for foam cutting.
How long do the carbide mills cut for before needing replacement?
How much do they cost and where do you buy them from? vertigo

Both the HHS bits and the carbide bits were advertised as foam cutting bits. The HHS certainly wouldn't be good on anything else. I don't see any difference in the carbide bits from the wood cutting ones except for length. I doubt I will need to replace the carbide bit ever if I just use it for foam. Sorry, I can't remember where I purchased them off hand. If you need to know, hit me up in August and I'll look it up for you. Bits were not cheap. I seem to recall the HHS bits were about $75 each.

I guess you mean seven sacred pools. But don't call it that around my wife's family. That's what haloes call it. It's not sacred to the Hawaiians and they have a Hawaiian name for the area that I can't recall just now.

I've been there many times, but not lately. Charles Lindbergh and his monkeys are buried just past there. Haven't been to Hana side in over 10 years.

Yes, Japanese is the largest ethnic group here I think. Followed by Caucasian. I think native Hawaiians are only about 10 percent

Opinions needed!

I will be back in the real world next week and am excited to get back to work. There are a couple of different directions I could go at this point.

Option 1: Continue milling the body sections.

Advantage is I will better be able to divide the mold into sections. Disadvantage is Winter will set in and I'll have to wait till spring to apply fiberglass.

Option 2: Do some finishing work on what I have already and turn that much into a fiberglass mold.

Advantage is I can see how the fiberglass process is going to work out.

So please share your thoughts

Will be looking forward to seeing your progress.

My choice would be option one. vertigo

Yeah, I think I'm leaning that way. Would probably make more sense to have the full body to work with. Over the winter I can probably have the whole car milled and ready to go by spring.
