"Do you think Hot Toys or Soap studios will ever release these to the public? I'm dying to buy one. There was also a Mezco one. Not sure if that is a different company than Hot Toys or just a different name. "

Soap Studios took pre-orders for 1300.00 that closed at the end of 2016.

Wrote Hot Toys representative and he said the 1:6 DOJ / Justice League will be produced but that it may well take a different final configuration and probably won't be available until near the release of the Batman stand alone movie sometime a month or two before the movie release.
Current expected price is ranged some where between 1500 and 1800.00. vertigo

Found a few hours today to examine my Mattel 1:10 scale RC Justice
League Batmobile.
Upon opening the box one is immediately struck by the presence, sharp
lines, and details of this Justice League vehicle. Just on these looks
alone the 250.00 price tag seems very reasonable.
I have no regrets on this purchase.

Took some measurements of the vehicle. Starting with the Batman figure
that measured 6-1/2 inches tall. That translates from scale to a human
size of 5' - 5" tall. The Batman figure should be 7-3/16" tall to be
in a proper scale relationship. The vehicle wheel base measures 15
inches and scales out to a 150" real vehicle wheel base. Specifics on
the real DOJ / Justice League Batmobile list a 173" wheel base. Other
pieces are skewed as well. Read some of the online literature that
describe it as 1:10 scale but does not call it a scale model. Good
play on words. Movie correct description is not exactly accurate but
in this case from an eclectic perspective everything looks right. The
cannon seems out of place but after removing everything else blends
well except for the side mechanics which are very shallow.
Compared this vehicle with Mobieus, Jada, Hot Wheels elite, and
photo-images of the Hot Toy's 1:6 DOJ Batmobiles.
SUMMARY:
Mattel 1:10 scale  RC Justice League Batmobile: Excellent RC and
display piece but not that good for a true movie correct build.
The Hot Toy's 1:6 DOJ or final rendition will be the best for a movie
correct build.
Of the scale models currently available, the Hot Wheels Elite 1:18 DOJ
appears to the most accurate scale model and has the best detail and
mechanics. vertigo

I picked one up last Saturday for $134 when Toys R Us had coupon glitch. Probably gonna keep it boxed up just like my 1989 Batmobiles.....

hey sly,
Here is a copy of the photo-image that I am currently using as my screen saver.
Outstanding contrast between the image and screen icons. vertigo

That is one sweet looking pic.

Just a little update on where I'm at now with this build.

I am considering taking this winter to build a 2'x4' CNC router and see how that works to reproduce more accurate body panels in foam, which I would use as plugs to make fiberglass molds.

The other option is to just get started on the frame as I have a pretty good concept of the chassis construction at this point.

I hope you choose the frame option.
You will need a place to hang all those body panels. vertigo

My daughter is getting married this winter so that is putting a big crimp on the finances. So no progress at this point.

hey sly,
Maybe we could build one of these, like this photo-image of the 1989 costume from Rubie's Costume Company, except in a BvS DOJ/Justice League configuration to tide us over until we get the physical builds going.

hey sly,

Here is something that might be of interest to you.

How to make life size cutting templates from scale models, the old
school way, using a pantograph.

Part Four
3D Pantographs

Have you ever thought “if I only had a 3 axis deep Z 2x4, 4x4, 4x8,
5x10, 10x20 CNC table for plasma cutting steel, routing foam”,
etc.,etc… While we are fantasizing might as well add a laser or
mechanical touch probe to scan our plastic models into a 3D CAD
program. One could easily spend a 100,000.oo on this perfect set up.
OR, you could get real and cast off the CNC mentality that is holding
your mind back from creating your Bat Vehicle dreams and making them a
reality.

Fact is most individual sculptural artists, and Bat Vehicle builders
are really sculptural artists, are not using CNC. The reality is that
99.9 % of all sculptural artists are still using 3D pantographs to
duplicate and/or enlarge their 3D works. Many of these tables are home
made. History shows 3D enlarged statues and other items were being
produced by 1650 on 3D pantographs.

Why?

The minimum table size that provides enough freedom to effectively
work on vehicle size sculpture is a 4’ x 8’ capacity with deep Z. Add
the computer, CAD/CAM program, and mechanical laser probe setup.
Cost:60,000 plus.

A 3D carving/routing pantograph 4’ x 8’ table for use on wood, foam,
and plastic can be constructed for a minimum of 500.00 plus the cost
of a router.

The Bat Vehicle plastic scale models (pictorial blueprints) contain
all the information necessary to make full-size parts. No need for a
computer, CAD/CAM program, and laser/mechanical probe.

The 3D carving/routing pantograph draws its input information from the
plastic model via the tracing stylus (input). Once the pantograph is
adjusted to the desired multiplication factor it becomes an automatic
scale converter that requires no calculations. One needs only to trace
over the model or model part with the tracing stylus and the other
stylus (output) that holds a router automatically cuts the increased
scale part in 3D.

The 3D pantograph design allows it to automatically and accurately
calculate the scale multiplication factor into the movement of the
drawing stylus on X Y Z axis. Thus, zero scale translation errors and
the source of nearly most all errors come from the ability of the user
to follow the lines of the model with the tracing stylus.
(No computer, CAD program, CNC operated machine, or even electricity
needed, except for the router and maybe a work light.

Thousands of 3D carving/routing pantograph plans are available online
for free. Some are sold as kits with patterns.

You need only find a strong design and scale it up large enough to fit
your table size. I plan to build one of these to make the afterburner
and intake parts for my Tumbler and the more complex parts for my
DOJ/Justice League Batmobile. vertigo
