I bought my heavy duty brake conversions from ruffstuffspecialties.com

A company that makes a lot of heavy duty off road parts for the GM
14-bolt axle and many others.

hey gez,
Are you planning to weld your axle supports to the actual center hub? I used a reinforcement truss. Only welded it to the axle tubes because of the problems with the center hub cracking after welding to them due to weld contraction and dissimilar rates between axle tubes, center hubs, and reinforcing metals. vertigo

hey gez,
You said you rear wheels were used on the movie Tumbler.
If you stand two of them together in dually fashion, what is the distance between the two tires.
Shaggy said he didn't think they used a wheel adapter between the rear tires in the movie.
Are the rims 16-1/2 X 12 ?
Looks like they welded the center hub just inside the rims.
Currently, designing my rear dually wheel setup.
Was going to use a custom wheel company but now leaning towards building my own.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. vertigo
