Here is a diagram of the 4-link suspension and truss setup I will be using to set up my GM 14 bolt rear axle.

My GM 14 bolt axle weighs 550 pounds. Was looking at my axle and thinking about how I was going to position it for mounting and happen to glance to my Auto-Twirler. So, took one of the end rotation units and I am now using it for axle positioner. Quite effective really, up, down, side to side, and can move forward and backwards.

Wow! I think that last pic is the first I noticed how elaborate your framing is. Beautiful welds too by the way.

Thanks for the kind words.
Continued work today on the main axle chassis mounts.
Waiting for my 4-link parts to arrive before I finish cutting and rounding the ends and drilling the holes for the bolts that the hemi joint ends mount on. Once this is achieved welding will be completed and then a 1/4" bottom tension plate will be welded on for additional strength.

That's some heavy duty steel you're using my friend. Your car is going to be a beast!

Seeing that axle coming forward is starting to get pretty exciting!

Hey sly,
You can go to the early postings on this build to see the frame without any skin.

My four link suspension kit with truss for my GM 14 bolt axle came in today.
In the photo image attached to this post the 8 bolts are 5 inches long X 3/4" in diameter.
They make a pretty good scale indicator for anyone wanting to judge the sizes of the
other items in the photo images.
