Hey Gez,
Miss seeing your work on your Tumbler and hope you get a chance to
finish it one day.
I have been trudging along on my Tumbler for an hour a day. I have
been at it for 3-years now. Have over 1100 man hours in the project.
Recently, making some progress on the front arms and axles.
I have a couple of questions for you.
What brand of wheel rims did you mount your Tumbler rear tires on? Or
were they custom made?
How did you handle the spacing issue between the dually rear tires?
I’m thinking 2-3 inches between them. Did you use a wheel adapter
between the two rear tires to mount them in dually fashion to the rear
axle?
I would greatly appreciate any information that you might have on
these issues. vertigo

hey gez,
Looking forward to seeing your progress.
A lot of the people that come to this site come to read about the step by step building and they like to see lots of photo images. A picture is worth a thousand words and someone may find inspiration and/or insight in the photo images and words you post. It's not the finished build but the small steps and methods that were used to get to a finished build that most are interested in. Kind of like when Richard Petty was asked how it felt to be a world champion racer. He replied, "It's not about the winning. It's about the racing."

What are the connectors on the tubing you are using rather than bending the tubes? Do you think it will make the cage weaker?
