"Beautiful tires. How wide are they? How tall?" sly
These are 31 inches tall and 18 inches wide. They are also DOT and street legal.
That's about the right size for the front of the DOJ as well. I wonder if they make that same tire in a taller size for the back?

hey sly,
Mickey Thompson Tires has a website with information about all their tires.
When I find a Mickey Thompson tire I like I usually go to Summit Racing.
Their detail descriptions on Mickey Thompson tires are better presented and their prices are the lowest I have found.

Spent a couple of hours today working with proxy tire to calculate the exact axle length needed.
Re-adjusted the proxy tire's wheel mounting center to be the exact same dimensions as the custom wheel rims I have on order. After remounting the re-adjusted proxy tire I discovered that I need to shorten the Tumbler arm axle length by 2-inches, maybe a little more. Will cut 2-inches off the axle, set everything up again, and check the fit again. One good thing about fitting the Tumbler arm axles is their symmetrical aspects. Get one side right and the other side just needs a transfer of measurements.

Finished welding the passenger side Tumbler arm axle.
Then, mounted a proxy tire to check the results.
All aspects checked out perfect.
The proxy tire method saved me from several errors that would have been costly and allowed me to work out a lot of trial/error and fitting issues and experimentation.

The Hot Wheels Elite Dark Knight Trilogy Batmobile
• Quality die-cast model car in 1:18 scale
I bought one of these on EBAY for 100.00, including shipping, when I started
doing my research to build a Tumbler. New on Amazon/EBAY they
currently go for 167.00 including shipping. Pre-owned they go for low
of 100.00. This would also make an excellent desk display and removed
from the metal base it could be used to make an excellent diorama.
Particularly, in the waterfall jump which is something that I’ve been
thinking about doing for a while now.
Product description from Ebay listing:
“The Dark Knight Trilogy BATMOBILE depicted in Christopher Nolan’s
films is a tank-like machine modified from a military vehicle called
THE TUMBLER. The films’ production designer described it as a car
boasting “Lamborghini lines combined with tank functions: cannons
mounted on the front.” Four street-ready cars were constructed, with
each vehicle possessing sixty-five carbon fiber panels and costing
$250,000 to build. Two of the four cars were specialized versions: one
was the flap version, featuring hydraulics and flaps seen in detailed
close-up shots where the vehicle propelled itself through the air. The
other was the jet version in which an actual jet engine was mounted
onto the vehicle, fueled by six propane tanks. The full-sized vehicles
were driven and filmed on the streets of Chicago. Mattel’s 1:18th
scale model of this powerful machine features a custom-designed metal
display stand with a swatch of authentic Batman movie cape material!
Hot Wheels Elite offers this must-have model to all Batman fans and
enthusiasts! Incredibly detailed.”
Product Dimensions
11.8 x 4.7 x 4.7 inches
Item Weight: 3 pounds

Spent 4 hours today welding on the second axle and related Tumbler arm.
