Im not running it to it's fullest potential yet. It's electric and the battery I'm using is only 20 amp hours with a max safe draw of 60 amps and sits at about 80v. So I've tuned the controller down to 40% of it's capacity so as not to explode the battery pack. The motor will run at 95v and with better batteries I could pull a lot more amps. However, in saying all that I've taped an iphone to the bike and run it at about 65 - 70 kph or 40 mph. Fast enough for the time being.

slysnake (12/4/2016) Do you plan to make it "street legal"? I would love to see it tooling down the highway. Sure would turn heads.
Currently the tyres are not roadworthy.
I did some pricing on wheels with custom hub and offset to fit the Vee Rubber monster 360 tyre. Was quoted about $1900 per wheel them about $500 for a tyre with shipping. Probably worth it to get a roadworthy bike, but a little out of my budget.. And I doubt the wife would let me spend it.
Then, there's all the lights, mud guards, mirrors...etc... so unless I win the lotto i think it'll just be a show bike.

hey spidey,
Here is something for the BatPod riders.
Helmet Dawg.com
Introducing the ALL NEW HD100 helmet formerly known as the Dark as
Night helmet concept. The NEW HD100 is the result of months of
developing a new proprietary elastomer (polymer) formula that yields
soft yet flexible traits without sacrificing durability,
functionality, or looks. There is little to no difference in aesthetic
looks, the concept has faithfully transitioned into production in
every major aspect. The "extremities" are formed with a soft shiny
rubbery coating over a performance type durable flexible foam core
(similar to memory foam used by the mattress industry).
Check out the new pictures and information of the NEW HD100 on the
Products tab. 325.oo
Image 5 is more customized. vertigo

Did some milling of a template for the canons. Thought i'd make the bracket as well in wood for the time being. Will upgrade to something a little stronger as this bracket is the part of the bike that will make contact with the ground if the bike is dropped.
