This is a front view which again I had to scale up just about 2 inches in width to accomdate the dual exhuast headers.

On the opposite side I had to notch the cradle to let the oil pan go down further so the whole thing would stay tucked up close to the motor and keep the over all look.

These were just for fun, and maybe for a little motivation for myself.

So I actually got a couple of hours in on my build. My plasma cutter came in and I got it all set up.

Took the wood templates and clamped them down and started cutting. Im very impressed with this machine. It went through the metal like butter. It was still a bit tricky even with the templates. Youll see later there was a bit of clean up work afterwards. I'd definitely like to step into a CNC Plasma Cutter at some point.

This was afterwards. I clamped both sides together along with the actual wood template and made sure everything was smooth and even.

So recently I figured out how I am going to mount/ make my front hub. I had numerous ideas and sketches done, but nothing stood out as the best way to do it. Ultimately I decided to hit my local bearing shop to see if they would have a better idea or just a fresh set of eyes. Im definitely glad I did! With in a minute the guy had me set up with a nice set of self lubricating bushings and a very simplistic design for the steering pivot. All along I had planned on going with ball bearings but he actually recommended against it. The following pictures should illustrate how its coming together.

So basically a 1.5 inch pipe striaght through with the bushings fitting inside top and bottom. Then a 1 inch internal shaft going through the middle.
