Howdy Gang!,
as the description says...I've been trying to figure out the gauges used for the 89 car....so far I think some Smith gauges, perhaps some VDO( Batcar 2)..even Lucas for the oil temp.... I'm usually pretty good and figuring this out,,, but I was aving trouble with Countach gauges as well, so just bought some jaguar gauges and made some...kinda resourceful this way....Anyway, does anyone know what make the gauges were for the 89?....Here's a same of my Countach gauge overlays.. since the Countach gauge is lit from the front, you can't tell mine for the real ones...maybe you can see where i'm going with this....perhaps gauge overlays to match the original 89 Bat would be neat to do up...I have access to a laser cutter which i've been using many years, so kinda got the hang of things, if you catch my drift
Ps. I have been looking at gauges now for about 6 hours trying to figure these out...even started going through builds to see what everyone has been using....the other thing i see is perhaps some aircraft gauges too...at least helicopter, if nothing else... Feel free to chime in here please.....

ok, found a better pic of the AMP gauge assembly and a shot of the Speedo...now to make the speedo face I used a piece of plexy that i laser engraved the back of then painted it to show through the front.....it was a bit of a layering process but came out great, imo

First off, great job on the gauges. I cannot directly answer your question but I am curious about your Amp gauge. The range you have appears to be for volts, not amps. Most cars charge at 13-14 volts. I have a factory amp gauge in my '71 240z. It has a range of -45 - 0 - 45 and hovers around 20-30 on the positive side while driving.
In regards to the gauges in the screen used cars, I think Smiths look more correct but it is really hard to tell. In the few good pictures I have they almost appear custom, like old boiler gauges or aviation gauges. Even the arms look like old boiler gauges.
